3) He can also write his name! Check this out (bottom left). I'm pretty proud of my three year old boy who doesn't go to preschool. This was the very first time he did it without tracing. It was a Valentine's card we sent to my grandma.
4) We've had a busy week of family dinners and birthday parties, with one more to go tomorrow. Tonight is our only night this week that we do not have plans with family. It's been great, but we're ready to stay home.
5) Here's my baby, on a big boy swing!
6) Two prayer requests for you. My friend A lost her mom to cancer this week at age 56. Also Steve's great aunt, a widow, lost her companion (he was twice widowed) last week. May their loved ones be comforted and consoled, and may the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
7) My time's running out - gotta get some warm breakfast in these kiddos before we head out into the snow! Check out more Quick Takes at Conversion Diary, and thanks to Jen for hosting!
Oh Marie...enjoy your little ones enjoying the snow! And love your little one's name! Good job. My Flynn was just three in November, but I didn't sign her up for Preschool next year. I am going to keep her home and do it myself. I sometimes forget that way back when, I was a teacher, and the preschool years are the best!
ReplyDeleteWe have been enjoying a website I finally checked out. It is ABCmouse.com. I saw the ad on nickjr. about fifty times a day, and finally checked it out. Flynn loves it! She really is learning, too.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Me again! I think I was commenting on yours at the exact same time you were on mine! Neat! : )
ReplyDeleteHi Marie!
ReplyDeleteSnow! How fun! We've only managed to get a lot of ice this winter season, but hardly any snow! I hope your boys enjoyed playing in it! Tell them to throw a snowball for my Lucas! :)
Great job to your Lucas on his name! That's awesome! My Lucas is still learning, but his name is slowly getting more legible! I love this stage so much!
I've also been trying to work with him on reading time, but he's not been very interested! :)
Have a great night relaxing at home!
WHat a good mom, we make our kids wait until it's warmer than at 9 am!! But they start asking around 6 am :)
ReplyDeleteOh, it was close to 30. :) And I was sweating by the time I got us all dressed, so it felt great!
DeleteI just found your blog from Billie Jo's sidebar. I love the title of your blog. Looking forward to visiting more. Have a great day!
